Spells Digest #17

Hey folks! 👋 This week, we're so excited to share our new Design Spells website with you. It's a little home on the internet for all the spells we've featured thus far.

designspells.com

On the site, you can filter spells by tags, to find easter eggs or skeuomorphism in the wild, or browse spells by app, like Figma or Arc. Each spell now has its own unique page on the site as well, complete with a handful of similar spells. Try clicking on one of the spells below!

This project has been in the works for quite some time now, and we're really glad to finally be able to share this with you. Thank you for your patience and, as always, we'd love to hear your feedback.

GuideGuide

Cameron, the guy behind GuideGuide, is at it again, with a new version for Figma. You can sign up with the code “designspells” to get 50% off the first year, and all plugins are included. Right now, he’s trying to get the word out about the launch. If you think it's cool, please consider sharing GuideGuide wherever you tweet, toot, or whatever you do on Bluesky and Threads.

You can read this issue online too if you like! Without further ado, here is the latest roundup of the spells we've shared on Twitter/X

Bonus

Vercel is back at it again with their unique digital conference tickets. Previously, it was a customizable ticket with stickers, and this time we get an interactive badge and lanyard, complete with motion physics!
